We already sparked plenty of creative thinking and vibrant discussion among filmmakers when Ed Video launched Indie Lounge last year in Cambridge in support of Grand River Film Festival.
Commencing in 2009, through funds generated from the Guelph Arts Council Youth Opportunities Fund at The Guelph Community Foundation, Guelph Arts Council will offer an award(s) that will assist local artists, not-for-profit groups and youth to initiate, enhance or expand opportunities for children and youth to experience or become engaged in the arts.

The Prosperity Council of Waterloo Region will report back the significant findings and key recommendations from their Task Forces on the Creative Enterprise Initiative to a broad representation of community members at a forum September 24, 2009. This event will be held at the Waterloo Inn and Conference Centre from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. With this report of the yearlong Task Forces, the Creative Enterprise agenda moves to the next stage.
