Paint a Portrait on Silk – with Constance Noyle. Wellington Artists' Gallery and Art Centre, 6142 Wellington Rd 29 RR4 Fergus presents an opportunity to face a new challenge and learn to work with a new medium ! Constance will provide the silk ( 8X 10) and the paint. For the sake of expediency she will have the portrait drawn on the silk so students can begin to work immediately. Students are to bring an embroidery hoop and three Chinese brushes, a small, a medium and a large.

Wellington Artists’ Gallery and Art Centre, 6142 Wellington Rd 29, Fergus features the work of Denis Hopkins from May 26 to June 29.
Denis Hopkins has studied still life and figurative painting for many years in France. Denis’s still life paintings are rich, colourful and so highly detailed that one sometimes feels the urge to pick the fruit off the canvas. They include images of exquisite artifacts collected over the years, copper, brass and pewter pots, vases and ancient china and glass vessels, all of which enrich the still life paintings.
