You can add/embed an image to any of your submissions.

Upload and insert images

Culture Blast allows you to upload a maximum of 2MB of images. Each image can be no larger than 450x650 pixels. To upload and insert your images:

1. When you are editing your submission, click on the Insert/Edit Image icon
   
2. Click on the Browse Server button
   
3. Click the Upload link
   
4. Click the Browse button
5. Find the file on your computer and double-click it
6. Click the Upload button
7. When the file is uploaded, it will be automatically selected.
8. Click Send to FCKEditor
9. In Alternative Text, you can optionally insert text you want to show when someone hovers their mouse over the image. This can be a description of the image.
10. To indicate that you don't want a border for your image, type 0 in the Border field. Otherwise, you can type a number to indicate the thickness of the border you want (with 1 being a thin border)
11. To link the image, click on the Link tab, and type the URL in the field provided. Selecting the Target drop-down will provide you with options for whether the link opens in a new window.
12. Click OK
13. Your image will now be inserted in your submission

Insert an image you previously uploaded

1. When you are editing your submission, click on the Insert/Edit Image icon
   
2. Select the image you want to add.
3. Click Send to FCKEditor
4. In Alternative Text, you can optionally insert text you want to show when someone hovers their mouse over the image. This can be a description of the image.
5. To indicate that you don't want a border for your image, type 0 in the Border field. Otherwise, you can type a number to indicate the thickness of the border you want (with 1 being a thin border)
6. To link the image, click on the Link tab, and type the URL in the field provided. Selecting the Target drop-down will provide you with options for whether the link opens in a new window.
7. Click OK
8. Your image will now be inserted in your submission

Insert images hosted elsewhere

Do you have images hosted elsewhere? Here's how you can add the images to your Culture Blast listing. (Don't have image hosting and need more than 2MB? Check out this help topic.)

1. Get the full URL for your image and save it somewhere handy
2. When you are editing your submission, click on the Insert/Edit Image icon
   
3. In URL, type or paste the URL of your image from step 1 above
4. In Alternative Text, you can optionally insert text you want to show when someone hovers their mouse over the image. This can be a description of the image.
5. To indicate that you don't want a border for your image, type 0 in the Border field. Otherwise, you can type a number to indicate the thickness of the border you want (with 1 being a thin border)
6. To link the image, click on the Link tab, and type the URL in the field provided. Selecting the Target drop-down will provide you with options for whether the link opens in a new window.
7. Click OK
8. Your image will now be inserted in your submission

To change any image:

1. Select the image you want to change
2. Click on the Insert/Edit Image icon
   
3. Make your desired changes
4. Click OK

To delete an image from your post, just select the image and press Del or Backspace on your keyboard. Note that this will not permanently remove the file from the web server. At this time, you will have to contact us to have files removed from your folder. We will be adding the option to delete the files yourself in the future.
